This week we learnt about how to put cue cards after you’re writing.

Cue cards are a couple of words that help you to remember you’re speech.

I enjoyed the cue cards because they were quick and easy to make.

 I found it challenging that you could only write a few words.

 If you have ever made a cue card I would like to know what

you think about cue cards.

Learning how to make a my google map



Today we learnt how to make a Google My Maps. First we brainstormed all the land marks of Kumara such as the Theatre Royal, Kumara Junction and the park. Next we made a Google My Map to put the land marks on. After that it was pretty straight forward, you placed the mark where the place is and then write a description of the place. Those were my steps for how to make a google my maps.

Why Turiwhate is special to me

Turiwhate is special to me because most of my relatives are really close so we can visit anytime .
Another thing that's cool about Turiwhate is that mount Tracy is named after my relatives.
One good thing about it is that we have the Taramakau river next to us so when it's hot we can hop in
the river.

Amazing story

“Look! Look down there!”
His voice could just about be
heard above the sound of the
aeroplane’s engine and the shrieking wind in their ears.

“Can you see it?”

Under them a bird flew past.
As they looked down to see a little Island

“I think thats chicken nugget Island”

“What did you say?”

“I said I think thats chicken nugget Island!”

“I see it”

He leaned over a bit more it looks like
he might fall then all of a sudden he slips
and falls he makes a wild grab for the wing
of the plane and completely misses when he fall
he pulls the red cord to make his parachute go
out but the only thing that comes out is beer cans
I guess we get that for paying five dollars to go
on the plane and another five for the parachute
he thought the guy looked a bit shady no time for
that now he has to save his friend  he dives then he
realised that he isn't wearing a parachute.

Flying down the luge

We where learning to write one moment in time

Flying Down the Luge

I was exhausted as I flew

threw the tunnel on the luge

and came out the other side of it.

All around there is snow.

All I can see is snow it's like a
sheet of white.I look down at my legs there

covered in snow some of it

already melting. Snow is

blowing against my eyes I can’t look at the
concrete road.

I am as cold as a peguen. My hands
are turning blue im shaking so bad I can
barely hold the handlebars.
I can’t feel my hands.

I can taste the freezing snow

somehow it blew into my mouth

that I can’t remember opening.

My arms actually hurt.

As I went around the corner

and flew over the finish line

I went to a speeding stop.
