Turiwhate is special to me because most of my relatives are really close so we can visit anytime .
Another thing that's cool about Turiwhate is that mount Tracy is named after my relatives.
One good thing about it is that we have the Taramakau river next to us so when it's hot we can hop in
the river.

That is a great description about Turiwhate and I can tell it is a very special place to you, well done! It must be nice to be able to hop into the Taramakau river on a hot, sunny day, you're very lucky! I live in Auckland city and we can't really hop into a river whenever we feel hot because there are none nearby. What is your absolute favourite thing to do or place to visit in your hometown? I'd love to know more and visit one day!
